Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great introductory course which has a lot of applications in any other science course. You will learn a lot of basic methods and procedures which you will see many many more times throughout your studies. It is also a great intro to evolution and genetics which is going to help you in the future.

    Course highlights:

Like I said above, you will be introduced to empirical research which is objective research that gathers facts without being bias in any way. This will help you greatly in understanding how science works.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Biology is all about the terms. The concepts (main idea) are usually easier to remember than the big words. So make sure you have a good understanding of them and don't mix them up.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Essential for most science degrees and programs.

    Course highlights:

A lot of the content is a more in depth extension of previous bio material from high school, but the detail is far beyond what was required in high school.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to only use online lecture notes as guidance and to read the textbook as this is essential in terms of getting a good mark in this course.
