    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor taught with diligence and celerity. His anecdotes were humorous and relevant. He gave good feedback and was helpful to students.

    Course highlights:

This was my first chemistry class. I learned about the potential applications for chemistry. The importance of hydrocarbons for organic and inorganic purposes. There were many exciting labs. Labs took about three hours.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be willing to work hard. Fully participate in the labs. Be willing to do the reading.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Balakin has a very heavy accent but he is really funny. He cares very much about the success of the students and takes extra time on certain topics to make sure we understand the concept. I would suggest him for anyone who isnt comfortable with chemistry or who may be coming back to school from a long absence.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of the course are the experiments. He is very good about choosing exciting experiments and doing many of them. He even does some extra cool experiments in lecture to support the subjects.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework, do the review, memorize the flashcards. They help!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Neurator explains all of her material in detail and her notes do not make the student confused. Studying after class time is recommended since most problems involve lots of problem solving but she encourages questions if someone does not understand a problem.

    Course highlights:

Thanks to her class, understanding complicated word problems have become easy and easier to understand. However the greatest highlight is the large amount of extra sources to understand complicated problems and the informative labs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT FORGET TO STUDY OR MISS THE LABS. This is very important, if you miss either of these you really do cripple your chances of understanding the content. All of the tests and quizzes are all reviewed in class so if there is something you do not understand do not be afraid to ask questions.
