    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is obviously passionate about astronomy, but uses odd analogies in order to convey important concepts. He often goes on unrelated rants. The quizzes are difficult, and need to be studied for as if they are exams. Extremely tough course in order to fufill a simple GE requirement. Further, he threatened to withhold points from my grade until I enrolled for another one of his classes.

    Course highlights:

I know that Dr. Hacking's favorite date place is the Griffith Observatory.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Every. Night. If you do take the class, be sure to utilize the SI coach.
