    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Professor Stupy is one of the best teachers for Natural Science department. He knows what he is teaching and wants students to pass the class.

    Course highlights:

    the Highlights of this course would that anything you learn from here can happen to you. The learning that microbes are ubiquitous can scare you at first, but it really fills your brain with necessary knowledge and resource.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read his notes after his lecture; makes you memorize more. Always be ahead and memorize the packet that Professor provide.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I would recommend this course because you learn so much about microbes and how to protect yourself from infections or diseases.

    Course highlights:

    What I learned from this course is how to properly identify a unknown microbe by performing various test (i.g. staining, catalase, MR/VP).

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    In order to succeed in this course you have to read the chapters before class, make flash cards, and study the concepts. It also helps to study any visual pictures the textbook provides. There is alot of information to learn in a short amount of time , so it's important use any opportunity you have to study.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. White was a great professor! He was very upfront about the requirements of the class and he made it easy to learn.

    Course highlights:

    My favorite part of this course was the last section: viral, parasitic, and microbial diseases. It was so interesting, especially for those of us who are planning a career in healthcare.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Use the question sheets that he provides to study for exams. Almost everything that you will see on the test is covered on the question sheets.
