    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because of its contents and the way the professor presented them to us. The professor gave us detailed and entertaining lectures on the mise-en-scene, lighting, and genres of movies. If you’re a film fanatic, you should definitely consider this course.

    Course highlights:

As stated before, I learned about the mise-en-scene of film and what it actually entails. I learned of the staging, lighting, and different forms of music one can use to affect the mood of the film. We explored the different film genres and their subgenres.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the material that is assigned to you. This is definitely the biggest advice I can give someone for this course, as the readings are discussed in class. The readings also help to flesh out the lectures and material that are given.
