    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a great course. It does go by fast so do not underestimate it. In the end the amount of material that needs to be studied accumulates so I do not recommend taking another course along with this one. What made the course great, for me, was the professor. Despite having limited amount of time in class, he was willing to come early and stay late for anyone that needed help with understanding the material (and/or finishing the exams).

    Course highlights:

Limits, derivatives, anit-derivatives, L'Hopital, Graphing derivatives and anti-verivatives, Related Rates, Optimization. Make sure to read the textbook and do the homework. Understand the material before moving on to the next; everything is sequential so whatever you learned last relates to the new material.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I took the summer course so it was a bit more difficult for me due to time. Make sure to organize your time well, whether you plan to take it in the summer, fall, or spring. It's a great course. Do not be intimidated if you do not understand it right away; just make sure to seek help. If you do understand it well, help others around you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor has dry Russian humor which somehow makes the class not dry, as math usually is. He also goes over hard concepts multiple times and makes sure you understand the concepts before moving on.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to prove if someone was going over the speed limit using a calculus theorem.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to practice, practice, practice. I spent most of the time doing problem sets from the book.
