    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's not a recommendation. If you are enrolled in Wallace's Nursing program you have to take this course. As a course it is a rough one, but one needed and at times there is some fun added in!

    Course highlights:

This course covered, as the name listed, the fundamentals of nursing. The highlight of this course would have to be the time that we all were put in the hallway and instructed on how to use crutches, walkers, and other ambulation assistance. We were all in the hallway and after the first initial instruction on the apparatus' we then proceeded to have walker and wheelchair races down the hallway.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you do anything, highlight as you go in your book, listen to tegrity, and study at LEAST 45 a day. Test have a lot of information so you cannot wait until the night before to cram.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very important for any nursing student. You cannot expect to pass any of the other nursing courses without first having an understanding of the fundamentals of nursing. This course allows you to "get your feet wet" so to speak.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is learning about the nursing process and nursing diagnosis. It is impossible to build on this course if you do not have an understanding of the nursing process.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not expect this course to be like courses before. This is an entirely different way of testing. It is impossible to study by just memorization and pass. Develop a foundation. Understand the process and the terms. The rest should come easy if you have this understanding.
