    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend this course because the professor fantastic. There's a lot to learn in Calculus, and the professor makes sure everything is clear to the students. The homework is also a reasonable amount.

    Course highlights:

While it was a math class, I really learned how to study in this class. There are weekly quizzes and exams after every chapter, and after doing poorly on the first exam I learned that I had to start studying! There is homework assigned daily, and I learned that doing the homework helps me understand the material quite a bit.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend going to class everyday. Each day at least one section is covered, and it would be easy to fall behind if you miss class. I also recommend asking questions if you don't understand something. Chances are if you don't get it, someone else in the class doesn't either. If you're still struggling, it's ok to go to the professor's office hours! He wants you to succeed just as much as you do. Finally, I recommend doing the homework each day it's assigned. I used to save the homework for the weekend, and not only would I fall behind in lectures but I would be so swamped on the weekend with all of the homework. Doing the homework will also make the information discussed in lecture really sink in and prepare you better for the quizzes and tests.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Calculus is a challenging Math course that could take you to almost any type of career such as Business, Computer Programming, Engineering, etc. Also, the professor I had was really helpful and will be there for you. I would recommend and would take this class again!

    Course highlights:

I actually learn a lot in that class. I learned about finding the Area on a closed interval, integration, taking Derivatives, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay very close attention to what the Professor will teach. If you miss one day, you are screwed. In one day, the professor will cover lots of topics, and you cannot miss out on them. Also, if you have any questions for the Professor, please ask! Calculus is tough for many students, but it doesn't hurt to ask for help; And it's not that bad if you work really hard.
