Not too easy. Not too difficult.
While an introductory accounting course is a must to business major, I truly recommend students (even high school students) to take this course, if available, to improve your understanding of how money work and the cash flows. The knowledge I've obtained from accounting courses goes beyond lecture room because it is very practical.
In financial accounting, I learn about the financial statements and its usefulness for investors. I also learn to create a monthly budget and how to keep track of spendings.

Advice for students:
Keep a possitive attitude even though you may not good at math. This course requires you to know how to do basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division) but more importantly, it will teach you to think critically about money.
