    Course Overview:

    It's a great course to introduce and teach you about American literature and how it defined itself.

    Course highlights:

    Learning about the history of American Literature and how the authors came to be and what they wrote was the most intriguing.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study, do not procrastinate, ask for help, use the resources available, and review and edit.

    Course Overview:

    Instructor is clear in what she wants and is readily available if you need help.

    Course highlights:

    When we think of classic literature, we tend to think of old European classics that can be dry and dusty. But our American Literature culture is rich and uniquely our own. It is refreshing to learn of our own greats.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Annotate your notes and be sure to look at the footnotes while studying. Professor Dalton will know if you look up sparknotes.
