    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Lori Silverman as a person is easygoing but as a professor she lacks explaining skills and what she says does not make sense many times. She cannot even solve your question sometimes. She also had some worksheets that the questions had nothing to do with the exam questions.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be organaized in this course, because if you are not you are going to fail.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are to take this course, better put the most of the effort by yourself.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Stanley has a set of very strict guidelines, and this includes his tests and quizzes. Either you do it his way and get really good grades, or you don't and get bad grades. I was quite upset with my first exam since he said my style of doing work wasn't like his and I got marked down because of it. Other than that, Stanley is an excellent teacher as he knows how to push students and uses his experience in Electrical Engineering to motivate students.

    Course highlights:

I learned to follow the teachers strict guidelines and learned that Stanley is only making these strict guidelines to really prepare yourself for the real world, and higher level math.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study as early as possible. The concepts will go by quickly, and if you don't understand a concept within a week, you will get behind.
