Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Liu is a great teacher, very understanding and helpful. She's an expert in her area and uses different methods to improve students' understanding. Chem 1b has a lot to cover and usually, the course passes by without having a solid understanding of concepts but she ensures that students get enough practice and are confident.

    Course highlights:

Gasses, Solids and Liquids, Equilibrium, Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Acid- Base reactions. Mainly the dynamics of reactions in terms of energy, and system. We learned the structure of solids and how closely packed they can be. We learned about the dynamic of an equilibrium and how acids and bases influence the solutions they're present.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Our teacher gave us homework and practices that resemble the test and similar to the book we used. So I'd say one should definitely use the practices given in the book since it can help understanding by step by step solutions and different questions.
