Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Middleton made history very easy to understand for those who need a little extra help, like me. History isn't a subject that I very much enjoy, but taking her class made me become very aware of how history was made and who made it. I've never learned more in a class. She provided so much help, one on one.

    Course highlights:

I learned the concept of how impactful history was, like a domino effect. Monopolies, generals, slavery, the declaration of independence, you name it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, always. The class is easy only if the hard work isn't a one way street. She works hard to provide study guides, so it's only fair to study those guides to succeed in the class. Studying and participating as much as you can with this course will pay off in the end.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is critical but also easy. You learn about different event throughout history starting from after the Civil War in 1865. I would also recommend Professor Middleton because she has this way of teaching the events like no other history teacher could. She is also very understanding and no one should pass the oppurtunity of learning with her.

    Course highlights:

So far the biggest highlight of this course was getting a chance to watch a documentary on Veterans. It mainly focused on wounded and impaired veterans after every war from the civil war to the latest war that we are in right now. Another highlight would be that the exams and essays were analyzed during the lectures and that is exactly where they come from.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course you need blue books and scantrons of course. You need your For The Record textbook which consist of historical documents and short readings. Never skip over the readings because they are critical to the essays.
