    Course Overview:

    Because it prepares you in the business world, and the real world overall

    Course highlights:

    The highlight of this course was the speeches that we had to do. I learned how to dress nice and also give a speech. I learned that you have to prepare to talk to large crowds.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    To not be nervous when you get up there and talk to the audience. To overcome the fear that many people have. Take this course as a essential to life.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    The class can be challenging for those with anxiety of public speaking but the professor made the class fun and easy to adapt. She gave us helpful hints to overcome the anxiety while speaking in front of the class. By the end of the semester, I was giving speeches in front of the class without signs of anxiety; such as, stuttering and shaking.

    Course highlights:

    I learned terminology in regards to communication and different types of communication. I learned valuable leadership skills to assist me with future goals and job opportunities. My favorite part of this course was the film analysis and my least favorite part was the group project.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Although this may not be a mandatory course for your degree, it has its benefits in leadership and communication skills for anyone!

    The professor was different and encouraged discussion of questions with various of topics

    The highlights of the course were our discussions. Everyone had a different opinion and each opinion was valued and respected.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    If you are considering this course you should take it because it is a fun class. Be prepared for different opinions, some of which you may not agree with.
