    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course, but I only put four stars because I believe that students with an art background will benefit the most from this class. I noticed students who came in with no art background did not do as well and seemed a bit overwhelmed. However, it is a necessary course for graphic design (and I'm sure other art majors as well), and it was extremely helpful in learning, practicing, and reinforcing the principles of design.

    Course highlights:

What I gained the most from this course was not only the learning of principles of design, but putting that knowledge into practice. This class is very hands-on, which is important for almost any art major. Additionally, fellow students were encouraged to critique each other's work, reinforcing what we learned and aiding in the creative process that us artists go through!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

For this course, it is important to have a basic understanding of drawing, so I suggest at least taking a Drawing 1 class unless you feel confident in your drawing capability. I would advise a student considering this course to pay careful attention because some of the directions are specific, practice practice practice, and do not strive for perfection! Everyone is taking this class to gain something from it, so it's okay to have questions and it's okay if your work isn't important. There is a portfolio review at the end of the semester that is used to show your improvement, so as long as the professor can tell you have given it your best effort, you will go far in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because this is the major I want to toward as and what I want to do for a living and this course has brought me a step closer to achieving that.

I learned the fundamentals of art and experienced the growth of my art work in this course.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Study hard, it will become easier later and practice until you achieve your goal.
