    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor of this class truly wants you to succeed and takes time out of her schedule in order to give you learning resources and multiple opportunities to improve your grade. Tests and assignments are straightforward.

    Course highlights:

Having a professor who is willing to go out of her way to provide tutoring made a huge difference in my final grade. More than anything, it prepared me for rigorous studying.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are not particularly talented at math, you'll want to spend a lot of time at the math lab and make a few buddies in class. If you miss a class, you'll be at a big disadvantage if you don't have someone letting you know what you've missed. This professor likes to move very fast, so you'll want to do some preemptive studying in order to better your chances on your tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class can be tricky, but as long as you practice, you can absorb a lot through repetition.

    Course highlights:

The beginning of the course was review of College Algebra which I enjoyed very much. I also liked learning about matrices. It's an easy topic to learn but it is important to follow the steps accurately.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to create a study group with peers. You will challenge each other and work through tricky problems instead of putting so much strain on yourself. Review your notes constantly! Do not let the weekend erase what you have learned.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it is a prerequisite for engineering if you are going for a engineering degree. I also recommend this class because the teacher will help if you are in need of it.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course would be the teacher because of how understanding he was. This is a math class so we learned about math.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the material more because it will help in the long run.
