Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because it is the perfect example of collaborative learning. We are put into groups to analyze the work of literature and then write an essay. You learn a lot of the beat generation and the different tools of writing used during this era. The only research paper you have to do is on any author you will be learning during the semester.

    Course highlights:

You learn a lot about the beat generation such as, Allen Ginsberg, Raymond Carver, and other members who changed literature. You also learn the different mechanisms they used in their writing. You learn also to work as a group and to give speeches.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to read, a lot and to explore an era barely heard of in writing. Very interesting class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

She was a very passionate and amazing teacher. You learn a lot about literature and deeper meaning, but you can also read some funny light hearted stories.

    Course highlights:

I learned about existentialism and meanings in graphic novels and cartoons. There is a lot more to literature than just writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just pay attention in class, don't have your phone out and you will pass
