This class was tough.
This course is actually more difficult for some than it may sound. When I took this class, I learned the hard way that notes are EXTREMELY important. Don't expect to pay attention in class and automatically get As. Write down everything the Professor says, and when you get home, make you sure you study the notes as well. Reading the book is also a good idea. Take notes from there and study those as well. The more you study, the better you'll understand the concepts and the better chance you'll have of passing the class.
I believe the highlights of this course were the inner workings of plants. It was quite fascinating to learn about all the different ways nature works. I was particularly interested in photosynthesis and the different cycles the plants use to create food and energy. The tests meanwhile were designed for the students to apply the material that they learned. The homework was the same. As long as you have good knowledge of all the process the professor discussed, you'll be fine.

Advice for students:
Take it seriously. Don't go in expecting an easy A. If you take this course, you must be willing to buckle down and study.
