This class was tough.
I recommend this course if you love biology and want a challenge. This course will push you to reach your highest potential. You will learn so much about amino acids, DNA, RNA, and cell replication. My professor Dr. Thompson is extremely smart and knows what he is talking about, especially when it comes to micro-organisms.
Indeed, the highlights of this course was the biology lab, because you get to run so many experiments. I learned about DNA structures, Glycolysis, ATP, ADP, and the different methods of producing ATP. We also learned about vein structures, since our professor teaching the biology lab was a certified nurse. We had one experiment on different exercises to see which effected our heart rate and blood pressure. It was my first time reading a Sphygmomanometer.

Advice for students:
You need to study, if you are not the one to study as often you will need to study as much as you can for this course. The technique I found most helpful was study groups, which also includes finding students that are dedicated to learning the material. Also one more tip would be to write on blank white paper and just put down an idea or concept with a picture. So that way you can just go back to the picture or idea and then research and study on it with your study group. Try not to write so much during a lecture because then you do not pay attention to what is being taught.
