Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Mayfield is amazing! He is funny and he really cares about his students. He took time after class to talk with whoever needed help and always responded to my emails. He also thoroughly goes over all the topics in his class and tries to make sure he teaches at a level everyone can understand easily.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be a better writer, how to cite sources, how to think through a topic on a deeper level, how to format a paper in MLA style. how to write topic and concluding sentences, and how to write to your audience.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work. You will have to write multiple essays that are worth a major part of your grade. Make sure to actually do the reading because he gives you mini chapter tests. Also, make sure to actually correct the areas of your paper that that recommends you fix. He gives good advice and likes to see you put it into practice.
