    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend it because it develops the basic skills and provides the beginner level knowledge needed to make sense of the business world.

    Course highlights:

Learning more about how people make economic based decisions is the most important thing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the readings in the notebook. Go to office hours if things don't make sense and study a lot before the midterms because they are the greatest chunk of your grade.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it introduces students to basic principles in understanding the American economy: GDP, inflation, unemployment rate, etc. You can become knowledgeable in a very important topic!

    Course highlights:

This course is preferable to 10A because the content is MUCH more interesting and you can apply it to what you hear on the news when they talk about inflation or interest rates, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Review your psets for exams! Homework is key to becoming good at problem solving in this course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was a good introduction to macroeconomics, and closely followed the Principles of Economics textbook. Overall, reading the textbook, doing the problem sets, and attending section were extremely helpful for doing well on the exams!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about larger issues of the economy, since it is a macroeconomics course -- and my first one. Although I had no previous experience, the material was covered well in the textbook and in section, and I enjoyed the course!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to office hours! You'll have great discussions with your fellow classmates and TF.
