    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course is an excellent introduction to mechanics, and even if you've taken mechanics in high school this course will expand on the difficulty of problems you've seen.

    Course highlights:

The major topics in mechanics, such as forces, kinematics, dynamics, and rotations, are covered in detail, and the course also provides an introduction to special relativity.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to put a lot of time into the problem sets. Work with others, but try everything on your own first and make sure you understand what is going on at all steps.
