Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learn alot from this teacher. From poetry to plays. He makes me a better writer.

    Course highlights:

My highlights were recieving my first A+ on the writing assignment that I have to fo. I had the highest graded paper. The teacher told me to read the paper outloud. It helps me deal with my fear of stage.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read and go to the writing center. Ask a lot of questions. Be participating. Do not show up class late. Attendance is the key. Buy your books ahead of time. Be courteous to other students.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor is amazing! He presented the material in a way that caused you to be interested, even if English isn't your favorite subject. Most classes were spent discussing what we have been reading and I learned so much just from our times of discussion.

    Course highlights:

Sometimes it is an intimidating thought to speak in front of your class, but I grew so much from our class discussions and even became more confident talking in front of people I don't know. Of course, this was all done from the comfort of our desks, no front of the room presentations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your required reading, because you will write several in-class journal entries based on your reading.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because it inspires me, and it makes me become creative

    Course highlights:

I gain a lot of things in this course, but the biggest thing is creativeness. It helps me with critical thinking. Now, i can understand the American literature although I'm an immigrated Vietnamese.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I read a story or poem many times to understand it. Don't worry when you don't understand literature after reading once because you are not alone. Everyone cannot understand what poets mean when they first read their poems. By the way, you can search on the internet if you don't have much time
