    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

One of the most interesting classes I have taken! Dr. Zook was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the course. The class consisted of very interesting topics and assignments.

    Course highlights:

I took a trip to the Rayburn house (House of Reps.) and attended a hearing about non-nuclear sanctions against Iran.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Class lectures are very helpful. Not all the exam material is from the book, some were specifically from lectures. He is very lenient with turning in late assignments and very understanding, as long as you attend class and communicate with him.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Haydel is a wonderful teacher. She is always well prepared for class and knows the material she is teaching well. She is always up to date with current issues and incorporates them into our class discussion time. Her classes are always very interesting, although somewhat heart-breaking (depending on the issues). I highly recommend her for anyone who needs this credit or not.

    Course highlights:

We learned about many issues regarding statehood and had several detailed discussions of the term. We had simulation projects for which each student represented a state in the United Nations (or Indigeonus group/ nonprofit organization) and had to argue for or against an assigned issue. We also learned more about proxy wars and how we (the US) is involve in them even today.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be lazy in this class. Pay attention to the assignments and materials given. It will make your life much easier if you read the material on time, there is a good amount of reading for this class. Professor Haydel is fair, you will get the grade you deserve so if you are struggling, she will help you, but if you are lazy, you will not do well.
