Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class to science majors who may want to broaden their options or those who need a fun natural science credit. The class is engaging with detailed information.

    Course highlights:

This class is very hands on and full of so much information. The highlights were the dated yet entertaining videos and the optional field trip. You learn about rocks, minerals, volcanoes, earthquakes, and maps.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Write lots of notes and pay attention. The book is helpful for observing images and provides some additional information. Ask any and all questions. Much of the information is just remembering what was discussed in class, and not much additional research is needed unless you were absent.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course for science majors wanting to expand the options and take something fun and not too difficult. This class was hands on informational to the fullest extent.

    Course highlights:

Learn about all the different types of rocks and minerals, volcanoes, earthquakes, and maps. The highlights were the several dated yet entertaining videos, and the optional field trip which I recommend for extra credit.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Take lots of notes and ask questions. The more you write down focus, the more you will remember. Some of the information is best known by simply memorizing the things from class. The book is helpful for different explanations and observing the images.
