    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Biology is a fascinating subject, and it allows students to discover so much about ourselves and the world around us. It's cool to think about the human body from a cellular level and begin to understand the processes that are happening within us and how those manifest themselves - like reproduction, genetics, nutrition, etc.

    Course highlights:

I learned about genetics and hereditary traits, so it was interesting to learn how traits are passed on to some family members and not others. I also learned about cellular reproduction, and the difference between sex cells versus "body cells" which I hadn't known before. My cousin is pregnant, so it was so interesting to learn about the different stages of growth from a biological standpoint while she progressed through the different stages of pregnancy.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to come to each class and each lab, pay attention during lecture, use the book as a reference to understand things more thoroughly, and have fun with the material!
