This class was tough.
Though professor McGann is obviously very passionate about this subject, he does not do a very good job as a professor. His lessons are 100% based off of powerpoint presentations, which can be very boring, and they are very broad and vague. He is a nice guy, but his teaching style did not work for me. The exams are hard, and it seems as though he expects us to know more than we do. I tried going to a tutor, reading every chapter, and even took his microeconomics class the next semester with hopes that I would be able to pass with an A, but it just didn't work out for me.
One of the highlights of this course was that the exams are online. I learned excellent time management skills in this class (ie: not putting the test off until the last minute), but because they are online, they are very difficult.

Advice for students:
Read the chapters and take good notes. Other than that I can't give too much advice on how to be successful... I passed with a B which is not bad by most people's standards, but it was not worth all of the work I put in to the class.
