Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was one of the most interesting classes I've ever taken. While it was a required course for my major, I came to every class excited to learn and understand more about my future profession as a counselor. This course gave a great insight on what some of my future clients will be experiencing and how I should approach it. The material was at an approachable level and Dr. Laws was the perfect professor for the course.

    Course highlights:

I gained a deep understanding of several psychological disorders that I may encounter in my future clients as a therapist. I learned the basics of several disorders, their potential underlying causes, any treatments, and what life is like for a patient with these disorders.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study after every class and expect a short quiz every class period. Not difficult if you review your notes, and ask questions if there is something you don't understand.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Psychology courses are full of a lot important, but boring things. This class, however, went through each of the mental illnesses and everything about them.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning each mental illness and how it relates to the individual's life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to pay attention and read up on each illness.
