    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Fantastic introductory course in sociology. You learn a lot about politics, history and the implications of social movements throughout time. We even read books about social movements in DC, which was especially interesting. The professor always brings in real life examples from current events and documentaries. Definitely an interesting class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about societal implications on our overall culture. We learned about how public school history curriculums were outdated to reflect only the upsides of our US history. A guest lecturer came in and this was a very interesting thing to hear about. Also Dr. Hanson is so fun and a fantastic professor to work with. Genuinely cares about students

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take plenty of notes in class, because the professor definitely lays out the exam and questions through her notes! So pay attention, take good notes, then the exams will be a piece of cake for you. Also make sure to take all the extra credit that is offered!!
