    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My professor is wonderful. He has taken a class that has nothing to do with my major and that I usually would not care for and turned it into a fascinating experience. As someone who is ex-seminary, he is knowledgeable about religion while still able to be objective while teaching.

    Course highlights:

This class will teach you to understand and appreciate the Bible in a whole new way. As someone that is not particularly religious, I thought that this class would feel like a burden, but I now have an appreciation for Theology that I did not have before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the daily readings because his daily quizzes make up a large part of your grade. Also, although he is relatively lenient, make sure that you pay attention during his lectures. They will really be helpful when it comes to writing the essays that take the place of exams in this class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was required course for freshman at the University. It covered the basic Theological principles that the Catholic faith is built upon. The ideas themselves were simple and I had learned them previously in theology classes. However, this class allowed us to go deeper into those subjects. I would not recommend the teacher because he tended to get off subject and a lot of the material for assigned reading was very difficult to understand.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were one page essays that we were tasked with writing on a weekly basis. They were reaction papers on either reading, lectures, or sites we were told to visit and allowed us to understand the material better. I feel that these essays allowed me to understand the material that was confusing and hard to comprehend at first.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention is class and take lots of notes. This course requires you to recall small details that might have only be mentioned once or twice. Also, pay attention and try to pick out the important details from the readings. Even if they are not talked about in class they are on exams.
