Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

one can explore how brilliant thinkers look at the world, which gives the class an understanding about ourselves and the world around us. This course helped me think logically and write better on my own through an author's argument. This course encouraged me to seek my own truth in life through the conclusions many of the philosophers made.

    Course highlights:

I was able to interpret philosophical text in my own way and think critically through the philosophers argument about a truth or an idea. I was open to my classmates opinions and reasons about a specific argument and express my own logical opinion as well orally and through writing. I could confidently apply philosophical teachings to my everyday life.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the readings assigned, follow your syllabus the professor gives you and if you do not understand a reading or argument try watching or reading a tutorial online to help you understand. Be yourself, because philosophy allows you to target what it is you believe as a human.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Helps me think outside the box.

    Course highlights:

It was required, so I gave it some sense of worth. It is easier to understand than the ancient philosophers and I can adapt some of their thought to present day society.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention. Read the articles before class. Participate

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My mind tends to work better with the ancient philosophers, so I didn't like the modern writers as much. The course was good enough.

    Course highlights:

I learned that where ancient philosophy dealt with Right (capitol "R") modern philosophy deals with rights.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do the reading. Really necessary.
