Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would 100% recommend this class with this teacher. He was an amazing teacher! He was also quite funny. Instead of being monotone, he would change his range and volume of his speech throughout the class period, and he would walk around and not be a stiff board. He engaged in the class. He would make sure we would understand the material before moving on.

    Course highlights:

I learned more of how there are different marriage and family types out there in today's society and also across the country. We got to see different family types and how they function.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the material and also do the projects. He would assign a project each week, and you would only be exempt from three. Some weren't really hard, and some were fun. Don't forget to participate in the class too! He grades on participation.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I took this course with Professor Doug Diekow to earn credit towards my degree and study abroad program to Sweden that I participated in.

    Course highlights:

Engaging dialogue and discussions. I learned the similarities and differences between American culture and Swedish culture regarding sociological concepts.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The number one thing students need to do to do well in this course is participate! Be involved and stay in touch with the instructor regarding assignments and deadlines and you will do fine.
