Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a class that I had as a pre-rec and it turned out to be my favorite classes during my spring semester of 2017. The professor allows for conversation about whats actually going on right now in the world. All topics are discussed and all include relatable situations. Its better than learnig straight out of the book. We did of course have a lot of work but it was all worth it.

    Course highlights:

I learned about my government in the most useful way possible. Reading the news paper later became an everyday habit.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't give up! Once you get the hang of it, you begin to really like the course. Get a group from your class and do the papers together!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

He is very helpful, but holds fast to his political views. Class was very easy though and exams were online.

    Course highlights:

I gained a thorough knowledge of how the American National Government works, and how certain electoral processes contribute to changing it. I think the highlights of this course would be professor Beck's knowledge of the functions of government.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class, and do the extra work he may ask you to do. While I was in his class, if we attended certain events we would receive credit. Also make sure you do all the work it's not hard, he makes you look for it in the textbook. Get the textbook!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is somewhat informational. His study guides are kind of vague but his first exam is take home. He offers extra credit in some quizzes.

    Course highlights:

We mainly scrutinized Clinton and Trump and looked at trend in polls, polarization of Congress, and demographics.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters. Skim the articles but have an idea of what each one talks about.
