    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor was awesome! He wore Hawaiian shirts and a sarcastic demeanor like it was going out of style. He made math fun and easy to understand. He had the most open office hours, responded to emails and phone calls within hours, and gave you so many handouts and notes that, if you failed, you really tried to.

    Course highlights:

He was the most understanding, easy-to-follow teacher. I actually learned algebra! He is generous with extra credit points (five points on the next exam for wiping the white board after class) and really wants you to succeed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

He does really stress prompt attendance. For every minute you're late, it's a point off your final, so be on time! Also, take notes. A lot of his test questions derive from the examples in class.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would only recommend this course to people who enjoy math and a little challenge. The teacher is condescending but if you go to him for help, which you will need to do because he moves through the sections so fast, he will help you. The first test is basically like a practice run of what the rest of the course will be like. So if you do poorly on the first exam, don't beat yourself up. Just know how you'll have to step up your game through the rest of the course and your grade should turn out fine, even with the first bad grade. Always do the homework and quizzes. They aren't worth much, but anything to boost your grade is great. They are also much better study tools than the review sheet he hands out so I would practice them the most.

    Course highlights:

The biggest thing I learned in this class that I didn't know before is how to use the ti-84 calculator. You do a lot of work with that.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't miss any class unless absolutely necessary. Especially because there is group work most days and you do not want to get any zeros. You think you might be able to afford one but you can't. It's not worth missing a day.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

i thought this course was pretty good and exactly what the description said it would be.

    Course highlights:

I refreshed a ton of information in high school that had become stagnant.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

i think you should go to the mathlab and seek help form the tutors there.
