    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is very interesting for those students looking to delve more into ancient culture and religion. It is a very nice change of pace from other classes in that if you are interested at all in the subject and you show up to class regularly you will really enjoy the class.

    Course highlights:

I gained a broader understanding of ancient culture and was able to make very good final grades in all related courses due to my knowledge in these types of courses. I ended up taking this professors classes throughout my TCC experience and enjoyed every course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There are three things needed to pass this professors courses, do the study guides, and write good essays, but in order to do that you must do the most important step and SHOW UP TO CLASS!!!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Smitherman-Brown was amazing! She knew her material and treated everyone as adults. She expected you to come to class but if you didn't, that was all on you. We had quizzes due each week but, they were super simple as long as you read your textbook, I would highly recommend taking her classes!

    Course highlights:

I learned so much in this class. I am not typically someone who is interested in the arts but, I learned a lot about art pieces that were created throughout different points in history and what influenced these artists to create the works. It was all super interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

As long as you go to class, complete your weekly quizzes, pass your tests and turn in your term paper, you are good to go! It sounds like a lot but, overall, it isn't that much work!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course because of the history and art you learn about.

    Course highlights:

Learning about all the architecture and art from Europe.

    Hours per week:

    Advice for students:

Focus while you are in class and ask questions if you need something to be clarified.
