Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Harrison is an amazing teacher, and he has a unique teaching style and knows how to explain the material in a way that you'll be able to understand it

    Course highlights:

What I loved about the course was that everyone has different interpretations of the material and it opened my eyes to so many different understandings

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have questions, ask them. Don't be afraid to see him after class or ask other students for help. Take good notes and study a lot for his quizzes. Pay attention to what he says in class, it will probably be a test question.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great intro to philosophy and good further learning for those already interested into the subject.

    Course highlights:

Learned a lot of philosophers and intro ideologies. Most interesting was the final thought experiment that allowed us to question the norms of society.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be expecting to learn a lot and possibly have your beliefs challenged

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course! Mr. Harrison is an awesome teacher. I've heard of the other teachers that teach this class, and that those teachers make other students hate the humanities courses. However, Mr. Harrison makes this course one of the most intriguing classes you will ever have. It is mind-opening!

    Course highlights:

I learned that there are many answers out there for life. There are similarities to the lifestyles then and now, mainly the ones that impacted humanity. That the various religions we have now have different backstories than what most of the populations are told. Along with the comparison of the philosophical mindset from people before the bible in Christianity was created all the way to where we are now.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The reason why I say this is a tough course is the fact you need to use your brain and think. Deeply. There isn't a lot of work given in the class. You can take notes if you want (highly recommend that you do), but you wont be graded on it. It takes a good amount of time for memorization and the key factor, understanding. He will help you if you ask, though.
