    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Sidelev is very passionate about education and the quality of his class. This is very infectious to the students, driving them to study that much harder for the class.

    Course highlights:

This class focuses on materials and how they react under stresses. Specifically, this class focuses on the reaction of said materials under axial (tension and compression), flexural, and torsional stresses. Deformations were calculated as well as the materials capability of handling certain loads.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot for this class! The textbook is very helpful. Ask a lot of questions and participate, even if you might look stupid doing so.
