    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was definitely a class worth taking. This class is very interesting because you get to know about the Earth you live on and the universe you live in. Also I would recommend taking it with Professor Geralds because he is full of knowledge and is a great teacher.

    Course highlights:

I gained the knowledge of space and Earth because of this course. I learned about every inch of the Earth and what it is made from and why the Earth looks the way it does today. It was very important to me to have learned how each country and continent was divided up over time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take Professor Geralds if you're at Moraine Valley Community College. However, if you're at another college just take a look at this course and if it sounds interesting to you, take it. You will not regret it because you will find wherever you are down the road, that this information learned in the class will come up.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a good course to take for a Physical Science requirement because it has a broad curriculum in which you learn a lot of things about nature that are all pretty interesting.

    Course highlights:

I really liked the "Rock" Unit, where we learned about all things Geology.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would only really take this course if you are interested in the subject material and not afraid to do a little work to earn an average grade.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I don't really have strong feelings about this class either way. I took this class for a Physical Science requirement I had to fill. If you're looking for a semi-easy science class to fill such a requirement, this one isn't a bad option.

    Course highlights:

I liked learning about rocks, water structures, and how earth science can relate to the real world and future employment opportunities.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard on the daily packets Mr. Hodur gives out, which asks you questions and goes over the chapter information. He doesn't let you take them home, but he does give you a lot of time in-class to get them done, so don't procrastinate and you'll have less to do outside of class.
