Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this class because this corse has helped me manage my fear of speaking with people, let alone speaking in public. Mrs. Belotti was a great teacher. She was very stern but very fair in her teachings.

    Course highlights:

My highlights of the class were making sure I got my homework done before the end of the week. Another highlight was when she allowed me to read a poem I wrote for my grandmother's funeral to the class. I also learned how to structure speeches and the different types of speeches that many people use today. I also learned a lot about choosing the right topics to write your speech about so that you can have a crowd pleasing speech instead of a boring one.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have stage fright or are afraid of public speaking, I encourage you to take this course for many reasons. It helps build your confidence when standing up in front of a crowd. It teaches you the fundamentals of a great topic to read in front of a group of people. And if you're lucky, you'll get a cool teacher that also tells you tricks on how to keep a calm composure while standing up towards the crowd.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. John Nash, is an excellent teacher. He explains every assignment thoroughly and he will help you with whatever you need help with. He also gave a lot of extra credit opportunities as well. He's an excellent teacher.

    Course highlights:

I believe the highlights of this class was actually the speeches. Performing these speeches in front of our class mates, actually, allowed me to tap into some skills that's I didn't know I had. Also, it was a great way to learn about other interesting topics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention during the lectures, complete the online quizzes that are due each Sunday. They are really too easy to fail, considering the fact that the book gives you the answers for the most part. Take the speeches very serious. Don't slack off on that part of the class and you'll do fine.
