Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Pathophysiology is like a microbiology and A&P course combined, with the aspect of nursing intertwined. It helps one understand the effects of disease on a cellular level, and how it then in turn effects a system, or sometimes even the whole body.

    Course highlights:

By taking pathophysiology I learned how the minor changes on a micro level can effect so much on a macro level. It helped me to see how everything was interrelated and dependent on each other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you take this course at Herzing University in Akron, then I suggest taking it with Mrs. Murthy if possible. However she is an adjunct faculty member, so you may not be able to. I also suggest studying your A&P, at least the sections which will be addressed in lecture, prior to that lecture.
