    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She helped me to actually want to go to a math class, I didn't think that was possible. She made it fun! Below I rated the class as being tough because I barely passed because I didn't devote enough time into studying thoroughly.

    Course highlights:

I learned math can be engaging. And that asking and answering questions is essential to learning and retaining the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of homework and make sure to ask a classmate, the professor, (because she is prompt at replying to emails), or go to the math lab if you are struggling.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Prof. Miner teaches this course in a way for the students to easily understand, and provides help when needed. All the material for this class is online so you don't have to lug around a textbook!

    Course highlights:

How to work in a group and help teach to peers. When we have a lesson, we have an assignment that the class can do in groups. I like this method because then you can learn from the other students and learn how to quickly finish a task as a group.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study and do the assignments regularly so you're not overwhelmed by the amount of work you would have to do all at once.
