Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Accounting is the language of business. Whether you are a pre-med, computer science, or a music major; you are going to be part of a business. Having a background in accounting will be a worthwhile investment.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to read financial statements. Prior to this class, I had an interest in the stock market but wasn't sure what all the numbers meant. After taking this class I am able to assess and analyze much better the health of a company. These skills have helped me improve my skills as an investor.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the review session and the super sessions before the test. After going to class and studying on my own, these extra review sessions with another teacher helped to boost my confidence and comprehension. The nice thing about these sessions is that few students show up, so you are almost getting one on one help from a T.A.
