    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is not a class for the faint of heart. If you are ready to put in the time and attention needed you can succeed. Understand that this class is going to be hard. Get a study group.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course for me was learning about how every part of the human body Works together.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Get a study group, put in the time, equally split the time between lecture and lab, and learn from mistakes on tests.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class was incredibly challenging. At UVU it is especially hard because of the directors of the program. I would recommend taking it anywhere but here. It is very time consuming and feels like the tests are quite impossible. Learning the material requires reading and really understanding what you are reading. The average on tests was a 50%, which is quite horrible.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about human anatomy because I spent every hour of everyday studying for this course. The highlights of this course was getting to learn about the amazing abilities of the human body that I did not know about before, but the lowlight would definitely be studying unnecessary physiology information.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend studying every single day, and going to the open labs at least three times a week. I would also recommend studying with groups and quizzing each other on information. Use as many resources as you can!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The lab portion of this course is amazing. You learn so much, but the lecture portion is hard. I feel like I didn't learn that much during lecture and lecture exams were a joke. They seriously asked trick questions and tried to make the exams as hard as possible. I felt as if I were trying to figure out what as being asked instead of being able to demonstrate what I know.

    Course highlights:

Working on cadavers in the lab. It is amazing how much you can identify on a human body

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Focus on the lab portion. It will really help in lecture and usually lab is weighed more than lecture. Make sure you learn how to spell things correctly early on!
