    I recommend this course because Professor Yells Presents information in a clear manner, is flexible with her course work, and presents interviews with different people in the field of Social Work.

    Course highlights:

    I learned many of the different functions of a social worker and how broad the field is in general.

    Read the lecture material that Professor Yells gives you and watch the on-line videos presented in the learning modules. They will help you pass the quizzes.

    Course Overview:

    This course is a great introductory into the general field of Social Work. Kris Yells is very flexible and easy to work with as long as you communicate with her. She presents material in a clear and conscience manner making it easy to comprehend.

    Course highlights:

    I learned about the many aspects of the Social Work profession from working with the individual (micro practice) to working with sociey ( macro practice). Also, I learned about many social work professions like School Social Workers, Medical Social Workers, Geriatric Social Workers, and International Social Workers.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read the material presented. Keep current on your weekly readings!
