    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Carolyn is an excellent teacher. She explains things very well. She also takes the time to make sure everyone knows the information needed. If you are willing to go to class, and have the time to do the homework, you will do well. The only down side is there is so much homework every week that it is easy to fall behind.

    Course highlights:

I learned more from this class than any other class I've ever taken in college. It is also probably one of the hardest classes I've ever taken. My favorite part of this course was Carolyn's humor. She would make it fun and exciting in class so I didn't drudge going every day.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take it during a semester where you don't have a ton of credits. It isn't terribly hard but it takes a lot of time. Plan several hours right after class or the day of class that you can spend simply on the homework that was discussed in class. Stay up with the homework and you will do extremely in the course.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this class online which wasn't the smartest. It's a lot easier to learn in the classroom than by yourself at home. Try teaching yourself calculus.

    Course highlights:

I learned quite a bit from this class. I am not cut out for math. But this class is required for my degree so why not take and get it over with. I failed the class the first time but I am taking it again at the school and I'm getting an A right now.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely recommend taking the course at the school. The teacher will actually answer your questions and help you understand it so much more.
