Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

His teaching style is easy to follow. If you have a question in class he takes the time to explain it until you understand it. I also think that he grades fairly and will work with you if you need help.

    Course highlights:

I was able to pass my Statistics course. I have a deep understanding of statistics and I feel confident in my math skills.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take really good notes. I wrote everything down, even when he did a problem more than one way on the board. This way, I had lots of examples when I was doing my homework and I was able to find the way I best understood and remembered it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I like stats because it is a very different way of thinking! There are not a lot of formulas and equations that you need to memorize, it is more of a debate class, which can be a lot of fun at times!

    Course highlights:

I learned how to think outside the box. A highlight to this course is that the teacher was passionate about she was teaching. It was also a highlight not to have a bunch of formulas to memorize.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just have fun learning a different kind of math!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great professor and also this course is a good introduction into the higher level of math one needs.

    Course highlights:

I have gained a better understanding of stats. The first semester I went into math 2040 and I was lost and got behind. I then registered for math 1040 and now I understand the basics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay caught up on all the homework, go to the math lab, and study before all the tests!
