Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The beginning of this course focuses focuses a lot on basic grammar principles. I found this to be particular useful because that last time I had gone over grammar rules in great detail had been Middle School. With that being said, I feel the way the information was presented wasn't as effective as it could be. However this could be due to the fact that I took this class online. The Textbook was verify useful. I recommend that you buy it instead of rent. It laid out in a very accessible manner and has great references for the common business documents that you will write in your career.

    Course highlights:

I feel I gained a lot during the course. My grammar and punctuation skills have been strengthen. The class also teaches how to format different business documents. The research paper was killer. However plenty of help is offered and it is manageable if you start early enough.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

After you take the pretest, make sure to do the models to help you master the material. They are not graded and you can take them as many times as you need to. Once you've mastered them, and read the textbook you can take the post test in confidence. Take the test slowly though and thoroughly read the questions. There are some sneaky ones you could easily miss.
