Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I LOVE learning about biology, so I enjoyed this class. Parrot did a good job at touching on each topic within the time allotted. There is a lot of material, so reading is a must and studying before each test is important. I really enjoyed learning about biology from this proffessor, because he expressed his own passion for the topic in his teaching, and was sure to prepare us not just for the biology field but for his tests.

    Course highlights:

In BIO 1610 you learn about the cell, inside and out. You learn about cellular communication and how the bodies immune system works. You learn about evolution (continued in 1620) and how it is becoming more and more accurate. It is a fascinating class, but if you have a difficult time with science I would take BIO 1010 first.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Start studying a chapter as soon as you finish in the lecture class. This makes studying before the test much quicker and allows you to truely learn the material
