    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor is great at teaching! He is very thorough in his lectures and makes learning fun. I learned so much in this class and hope to use it in my life.

    Course highlights:

Beware! This professor brings his pet snakes to class which is totally awesome! (he'll even let you touch them) You will learn the basics of biology while taking an in-depth look at life and how amazing it is.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go to this class. New information is given in every lecture which is crucial!

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Easy classwork. An A is attainable if you attend lectures, follow the notes taken on textbook throughout class, and study the key terms for each exam very well.

    Course highlights:

I learned about biology; cell structures, protein synthesis, and species types among other related introductory biological concepts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the guides he gives before each exam VERY well, and on all angles of each topic.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very different from any other course I have taken in my college experience. It was mainly taught online through recorded videos from the professor, and then in class time was used for exercises that applied the knowledge we gained online. For some, I could see this course being helpful, but for me it was very confusing. The videos briefly went over the subject material, and because of this I stumbled throughout the course.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlight of this course was that the professor was very passionate and involved in the course material. He was energetic, and eager to teach/help us throughout it. He shed a lot of interesting facts and really sparked my interest and even imagination within the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't just rely on the videos to understand the material for the upcoming tests. You have to take it upon yourself to do more than expected, by seeing teachers assistants/tutors, doing separate learning activities in the modules, and really immersing yourself in the work.
