This class was tough.
Hard class but you learn so much. Don't take this class if you have a heavy course load already, you really need to devote yourself to this class. Rodriguez is sassy and funny, but will help you. My major tips are: 1. Record his lectures, take notes off his lectures, and read in the book only the parts which he talks about (in order to get a better understanding). MAKE SURE YOU KNOW THE THINGS HE HIGHLIGHTS 2. There is a great website called histology @ Yale that you should use for all of the histology portions of the class 3. Memorize every part of every bone, muscle, organ, tissue, cell. Make sure you know what they are called and what they do and how everything interacts with each other. 4. Spend a lot of time in lab 5. Take pictures in lab!!
Cat dissection was fun for me, the teacher was very funny. You learn everything about anatomy.
